I treat every day as a blessing, and the more I capture it through the lens and project it on the screen is my visual poem to you. I grew up obsessed with movies and the art of cinema, wanting to become a stuntman at the age of 8. The information and technology era we live in today gives us the opportunity to create our own stories, videos and brand to project into this fast-paced, high-achieving, goal-breaking world. I’ve collaborated with amazing directors, producers, cinematographers and editors who teach me boundless knowledge on the craft of filmmaking. And I’ve learned – in this field – it’s important to check your ego at the door because most of the time the result is better than your original idea. Looking at 12+ hours of footage to create a 1 minute promo can be daunting to some, but it fuels me. And arranging that footage with your own creative flare, with the right music, sound effects, colour palette and creativity, is like a jigsaw puzzle that only you know how to solve – and that’s fun for me. And that’s why I do what I do. Capturing what’s in your head and visually portraying on the screen to emotionally affect an audience is an art, and not everyone can do it – but I can.
